About Us

SADS or Send Amateur Dramatic Society was founded in 1956.

Based in Send we rehearse and perform our productions at the Lancaster Hall.

We put on three productions a year: in March a group of one act plays; in June a summer production and in December a traditional pantomime.

SADS has a thriving Junior section which meets once a week. They put on one production a year and then join the adult section to perform in our pantomime.

We are a friendly and welcoming group and love new members joining us. You don't have to act on stage; you can take part by directing, producing, backstage, set design, sound, lighting, costumes, and make up. There are many ways to contribute and share your talents.

We rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
