About Us
SADS or Send Amateur Dramatic Society was founded in 1956.
We rehearse and perform our productions at the Lancaster Hall in Send.
We aim to put on three productions a year: a group of one act plays in March, a full-length play in June, and a pantomime in December.
We have a thriving junior section which meets once a week. They put on one production a year and also join the adults in the pantomime.
We are a friendly and welcoming group and love new members joining. You don't have to perform on stage as there are many other ways to contribute and share your talents; directing, producing, backstage, set design, sound, lighting, costumes, and make up.
We rehearse on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Our safeguarding officer ensures the protection of children (anyone under 18) and vulnerable adults in the society.
We are registered with Surrey’s department for Children In Entertainment and follow their performance regulations for chaperones and licensing.
